I let those questions pile up for longer than I anticipated, but tonight and tomorrow I'll be going in and making up responses to all your world-building scenarios!

If your question is in now, it's getting answered (as long as it isn't a spoiler)! One caveat: some of you got in there with a bunch of scenarios or questions, which is fine, but I can't promise I'll answer everything. I'll pick the most fun scenario from each comment and answer that, otherwise I'll be here for weeks.

Also, many of you asked multiple questions or proposed many scenarios. I'll answer the most fun one from each of you (or more if I feel like it), but if I responded to everything I'd be writing a whole new book down there!

Now that Purple Wednesday and Brown Thursday have passed, its time for Black Friday...and, since I don’t have any extra products to sell you, another round of collaborative world-building!

You tell me what detail you’d like me to make up about one of my worlds (Traveler’s Gate, Elder Empire, Cradle, or Barbie Horse Adventures) and I’ll make it up! Or, if it’s an answer I’ve already come up with, I’ll just tell you!

Caveat: I’m here to make stuff up because it’s fun and allow you to ask weird, off-the-wall questions, so I won’t answer things that might be spoilers or could ruin the story. If you remember last round, topics like “What’s the most popular restaurant on Cradle?” or “Tell me where the bathrooms are in Valinhall” are most preferred.

I’ll give you about a day to pile up questions/comments/snide remarks, and then I’ll answer them!

By sheer coincidence, that will also give me some more time to catch up on my email, which I still haven’t finished!

Meanwhile, ask me everything you’ve always wanted to know about Simon’s shoe size and how childbirth works on Cradle (I saw that question before, but I never got around to answering it).

I’ve never been to Philadelphia before, but here I am! To enjoy Pax Unplugged, a new board game convention.

I fully expect to play many games I’ve never heard of, and at least one that becomes real and threatens my life as I play it.

I’ll also be representing the glory of the Lion clan in Saturday’s Legend of the Five Rings LCG tournament, if any of you would like to teach me a sharp lesson at the end of your swords.

I’ll probably post something from the convention this weekend, but as far as useful news goes, this is the end of me for roughly the next week. At that point, I expect to ask you more about what you’d like to see from the blog: more stories? More personal anecdotes about my life? More about the writing process? More names of the nameless, rendered into human speech in such forms as to drive your pathetic mortal brains to madness?

...but that’s for next week. For now, games!

I hope you guys enjoyed the Deathmatch last week! I assume you did, but I haven't gone through all the comments yet, so maybe you all hated it and are cursing my name in the foul language of Mordor. I'll find out soon, because I'll be going through comments and emails tomorrow and catching up!
