Scientists discovered Will Wight in the caverns beneath the University of Central Florida, where he eventually earned his Master’s in Creative Writing as well as a badge of honor from the native mole-people. During his time at UCF, Will finished his first novel, House of Blades, which launched the highly successful Traveler’s Gate Trilogy.
He published BLADES under the name Hidden Gnome Publishing, though at the time, Hidden Gnome was just a name, a logo, and a voice that haunted Will’s dreams. After the subsequent Elder Empire series and the Amazon-, New York Times- and Audible-best-selling CRADLE series, employees were hired and copyrights filed, and Hidden Gnome Publishing is now a real-deal small-business success story.
When you start a business, you want to work with people you trust. For Will, that meant starting with family. His father Billy and sister Rebecca now manage the business end of Hidden Gnome, brother Sam keeps the social media machine humming, and his mother Kim coordinates the ever-expanding merchandising arm. Project manager Mike Adler makes sure everyone's doing what they're supposed to be doing, ideally on time. Graphic designer Patrick Foster keeps an eye on the art department, and chief office gnome Maria Collins mercilessly whips everyone else when they get out of line.
As for Will, rumors say that if you whisper his name on a windy midnight, you can hear the faint sound of frantic keystrokes drifting on the wind…
