Are you ready for a quick blog post covering everything I haven't yet had the chance to mention here?

LIGHTNING ROUND BLOG POST HERE WE COME!

1.) Elder Empire - Spring 2020
Progress on these books has been so sporadic over the last four years that I basically had to start over from scratch, but even so I'm almost done! Killers / Kings will be released in Spring 2020, and I'll be more specific than that when I actually get them finished.

2.) 1,000 reviews on Underlord and Uncrowned
Within a day or two of each other, both Underlord and Uncrowned crossed 1,000 reviews on Amazon.

That is not only more reviews than I've ever gotten on any book before, it's also especially mind-bending because the first book in any series almost always has the most reviews. To see books six and seven in a series hit more reviews than the first and have a higher average score is...special.

3.) Cradle Foundation is currently free!
The collection of the first three Cradle books (Cradle: Foundation) is free through December 30th! PICK IT UP GO GO LIGHTNING ROUND AAAAAAHHHHH

I bought all the EE books and audiobooks and cannot wait to read them all, waiting till closer to release date so they are all fresh.

Can the Sacred Artist crafting/refining magic system be compared to Reading in how it seems someone of higher advancement has more potency in their crafted items to how Intent is somehow making a infused item “level up”

Cause I figure that the Sword Sage sword madra can’t be helping in creating healing elixirs and that someone with the same knowledge and ingredients, but lower advancement as him wouldn’t end up with the same result right?

Intent in item gathers over time with use. The Emperor just invests a 1000x (guestimate) more intent into an item over the same period of time as a regular magister. He's also a lot better at focusing it.
From what I gather, if a regular person lived long enough and invested an item with intent repeatedly they could create items with enough intent to rival the Emperors. Its just the Emperor would take 1 day and they would take maybe a lifetime.

Out of curiosity does Will, or one of his team, know Mandarin? I noticed that the paperback version chapter numbers are all in Chinese which I thought a nice touch, and then there's a cover or two.

Awesome! I just passed on the free ebook link to like 10 of my friends to try your series Will. I may have told them anyone who DIDN'T thoroughly enjoy these books would be subjected to being tied down and forced to watch the new Cats movie for 24 hours straight....

Will, I hear you go on writing cruises and rent log cabins on business expense. This offends me.

What you have to do is buy real estate. You could buy a cabin on Hidden Gnome's budget, rent it occasionally but mostly just ride the property value up.

So, are we to assume that the mailing list short stories are CANON, not the death-fights but the powers? Also, in one of them I seem to recall Indrial's daughter wielding Mithra when she was fighting him even though she was bound to Vasha. Any reason why she was, or was that just for fun?

Also, I still do NOT understand why Simon followed a strange man who talks to dolls and just KILLED TWO people in front of him into a place he CANNOT leave by himself and has the possibility of being STRANGLED by shadows wearing hoodies. Unless it was for candy, then good job Simon, it was definitely worth it to get those M&M's.

Nah, he posted on reddit. Orthos up there is just trying the old "Tell Will we think he's dead so he posts more content trick."

Sometimes it works and Will magically comes up with a new short story, cool update, or oreo review the very next day. It didn't work this time though so Will has probably secluded himself in some cabin or cruise ship somewhere.

It actually has been a lot longer then usual between the times will post something. I expect he's trying to get Elder Empire up to the point where he can give us some real news. Maybe he's finished his draft of one of the books and has a release date for something.
