Hey, guess what?
Just broke 1,000 sales. That's amazing, guys. It's truly amazing. And I'm hovering around #500 on the Kindle Best-Seller lists, so that's also pretty incredible. I'm really humbled and amazed that the book is doing so well, and the reviews are largely positive. It's almost as though people are enjoying something I produced, which is an odd and foreign feeling. I'm also really happy to see more and more people leaving reviews on Amazon, which is great. Thorough and honest reviews help quite a bit; they allow strangers randomly browsing Kindle to see that the book is legitimate. The more reviews I get, the better. So here's the real question. Now that I've hit a thousand sales, what should I do to celebrate? A.) Go out to eat at a nice restaurant. B.) Dance and sing, like the barbarians of old. C.) Buy the bottle-nosed dolphin that I've always wanted. D.) Go back to work on Book 2, slave! E.) All of the above. Simultaneously. Let me know in the comments!

D. I want book 2! I guess if you can eat and write at the same time then that's ok. I'll leave those judgment calls up to Rebecca.

D! Then go out to a nice restaurant to celebrate with your new friendly bottlenose dolphin where there will be much dancing and singing, like the barbarians of old. I've never gone out with a Dolphin (of any breed) and not had an absolute ball. I can say that with absolute sincerity.

You know, it's weird, I've never heard anyone complaining about having a boring time with a dolphin. Must mean they're awesome!

E. By my calculations, it should be roughly as fun as the other four put together.

I can figure out how to write from the back of a dolphin while barbarically dancing and singing, but the restaurant part is giving me trouble.

We believe in you, bro! About the book, that is. There's no way you're going to get a reservation for you and a dolphin in any place that allows inter-species singing. The good news is the dolphin will be a great performance partner.

Uh-oh, it's a Hitchhiker's Guide reference. How do I respond? How am I supposed to top that?

So I just finished your book yesterday and already want more. I have never actually followed the links in the books or left a comment on one until yours, that's how good I thought the book was. Oh and E is definitely the right choice. Well keep up the great writing going to read your book again haha

Glad to hear it, David! I will brush up on my writing-while-singing-and-dancing-and-riding-on-a-dolphin-while-eating skills.
