The release date will be announced soon...very soon...in fact, I hear there may be a countdown to that release date announcement going on somewhere...

But what would I know? I'm just a Remnant.

The plan was originally to make it a Yerin focused book, but Will has said that plan changed early in the process of writing Uncrowned.

I’ll start: Eithan is Tiberius. I said it, he shed his monarch powers in order to flee Reigan Shen, which is how the lion knows who Eithan is, calls him a coward, and the other core members of house Aurelius ha e clearly never heard of him. In Uncrowned Ziel of the Wasteland said another faction was doing something similar to his situation, ie someone formerly powerful competing as an Underlord.

ONLY FLAW; he registered for the tournament as under 35?

Someone mentioned pre-orders starting upthread. Is this hopeful wishing or something more? I checked for Kindle and PBK versions on Amazon plus The Book Depository and there's no Wintersteel listing yet.

Am I simply too early? :-)

You're early. The book cover countdown currently happening, on Facebook and Instagram, is counting down to the release date announcement. If it follows the path as the last book. Today should be the Underlord book cover, tomorrow the Uncrowned and then either tomorrow or Thursday "should' be the release date announcement.

Not sure if I should be happy or sad but you announce Wintersteel and the first thing I do after cheering and jumping up and down like a fan boy is drop what I'm reading so I can power through the reread of the first 7 books. Thus leaving me ready to absorb the goodness that is coming my way.
