Excellent! Just purchased it. Won't be able to read it for another 20 hours though. It's my last day with my SO for six months, won't be able to read till I hope on my flight. But I'm looking forward to it.

Yeah, I'm craving Of Dawn and Darkness now, to fill in the gaps. The time when I was thinking "Wow, this one really feels a lot more self-contained than I expected" was shortly before it became extremely apparent than there was a lot going on in the other half of this pair about which I REALLY WANTED TO KNOW.

Well, the first and the third overlap quite a bit, so I wanted these to be slightly more independent.

Love new book! Finished it too quickly and already waiting for the next one.

There's no such thing as reading a book TOO quickly! You want to devour it in one bite, like a lion felling a gazelle.

Damn! I get paid monthly, on a really tight budget, so I can't get this in the middle of the month.( even though I know it's only $4) I read the sample chapter tonight and WOW. But I don't want to do what I did with the first Travelers book, and just pirate it first, then buy it when I can afford to. Because, in my mind, downloading pirated ones just gives them incentive to do it more. Is there a third option for voracious impatient readers?

I also know that sales in the first day or week help your overall stats. So that is something I would want to contribute to as well. Since I love all of your work thus far.

So I got the free trial for kindle unlimited, and download it that way. But I'm still.curious on if it helps your stats... 8/15/2015 03:23:32 am
Kindle Unlimited helps slightly less than a sale, but it does help! Thanks, Derek!

I have about 25% left to go in of shadow and sea, so if this has already happened I apologize. But I had an interesting thought strike me, Nakothi raises the dead obviously. If one of the dead happened to be a Champion that was raised would he/she still have his/her soulbound vessel, or because it is an animated being does it no longer have the soulbound vessel? I only ask because of Urzaia. He is what I like best in a fighter, an absolute tank. Unstoppably moves forward but enjoys the battles, that is what I am into, and with him falling at the end of sea and shadow that makes me wonder how that would work. I am guessing that there are other Champions out there that were stronger than him that could pose quite a problem for the empire, or maybe not who knows other than the unquestionable Mr. Wight!

My friends gave me a lot of crap for killing Urzaia, and they were trying to talk me into resurrecting him using Nakothi's power. They made a very similar argument.

I got the book - but it turned out to be a duplicate of the first book! Do I just need to keep going and it jumps to the second book, or did Amazon goof up?

The correct version is up now, Matt, and one of two things should work: either make sure Automatic Book Updates are turned on and then wait for Amazon to get off their butts and update, or return the book for a refund and then buy it again.
