I know I said the Unsouled audiobook was coming soon, and it turns out it was coming very soon, because the audiobook for the first book in the Cradle series is available now on Audible!
I'm really excited about this one, because unlike my Traveler's Gate audiobooks, this one is narrated by an actual professional! Travis Baldree was my first choice for a narrator, he was a pleasure to work with, and IMHO he did a fantastic job. You should check out his previous work...though I especially recommend his most recent work. The audio production process was quick and painless this time, and we're already in the early stages of Soulsmith. If you buy book one now, book two will not be a long wait. Sorry I couldn't say that for Traveler's Gate fans, but that narrator was far less reliable than Travis is. So, if you're into audiobooks or you know someone who is, check it out! Enjoy! And let me know what you think! -Will (P.S. I've shared in the past that it's better for me and my rankings if you buy the book ASAP. That is still true on ACX, however, I know that Audible is weird and sometimes it's better to wait a month for a new credit. If you can buy it now and you want to, great! If you can't now or don't want an audiobook at all, nbd! You're still my favorite.)

Ugh, that Traveler's Gate guy needs to get his stuff together.

It would have been hilarious if it were Tim Gerard Reynolds.

I stopped subscribing to audible about a year ago, but this was still an instant purchase for me. I've read this series three times now (a few of the books more than that) and I'm still super pumped to go through Lindon's tale again via audio! I don't know how you do it Will, but thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me my favorite stories.

Dang, that was fast... and I just finished rereading the series (for the 6th time??).... guess I'll have to listen to it again this time... and btw, since we won't find out until Soulsmith is out, how do you pronounce Eithan? Like eye-than or ee-than like Ethan?

For anyone with audible you can return books you’ve listened to and get your credits back. Just go to your account and then purchase history and return a book for a credit. And I’m already halfway through listening to this!

Will! How do credits affect your purchases? Is it good for you or bad for you?

Travis Baldree is awesome! He's been my favorite software games developer for years.

How dare you, Will Wight, besmirch the reliability of Will Wight's narration schedule.

I am furious that this post isn't visible in the "Audiobook" category. You must have put your unreliable narrator in charge of making the audiobook blog posts too.

I agree that was fast. I have listened to in just 2 days. No wonder more viewers really intact on this blog because it's amazing. Keep creating good audiobook reviews for us.
