The Upload Has Begun!

It's all in Amazon's hands, now.

By this time, most of you know the drill: the book will show up on the Kindle Store sometime in the next 4-12 hours. It won't show up on my Amazon author page at first, but will instead appear when you search "City of Light," or "City of Light, Will Wight."

First person to find a working link to the page, please let the rest of us know, and I'll re-post the link through all the media at my disposal.

As always, it's been a pleasure.

There are too many questions left unanswered. Does Simon end up finding Katherine? How did Valin go from being best buddy's with the queen (steel labyrinth), to wanting to slaughter every Damascan royal? Who will Azura choose next? Will Indirials daughter inherit Vasha or another blade? Will Lycus actually become a traveler? Will he kill Simon? What room provides diamond? Too many loose ends. Too many unanswered questions. Too many things that could still be done with this. I get upset at authors that spread a plot over too many books. The plot should've been in fewer. You, on the other hand, have a series that easily be spread out over multiple books, but instead have condensed it into a teeny tiny trilogy. Finish it or I'll send my tyrannosaurus to eat. You'll end your career as dinosaur poop.

I disagree - I think he answered enough questions. I've yet to read the novellas, so I've no idea what you mean about Valin, but as for the rest of your questions... They weren't relevant to the over-arcing plot. You're curious about it, but it doesn't change anything that happened in City of Light. All of those questions would be answered OUTSIDE the scope of CoL, so I think he did it quite well. He left plenty of room to continue the series as he sees fit, and to publish backstory in novellas, or something. He's going to put out more books, it's right there on the last page. He tied up all the necessary lines for the Incarnation arc, in my opinion.

He will come back to TG in 2018. Simin does not fight Kat. Elaina gets Vasha. Lycus becomes a traveler. I suspect he will inherit Azura as it could provide Simon and Lycus to bond.
