Hey Will! Was Blackflame the most successfully release you’ve had? I remember there was an extended buildup with an anticipated release date and the tension building was so good and everybody was hyped up. If blackflame was indeed your best release, would you be willing to do the same again and give us a tiny update? 🥺

Will had said at the time Underlord was his most successful release of all time up to that point, don't know if Uncrowned outdid it or not, but Underlord was the best up to that point.

Uncrowned was my most successful release! Every successive Cradle release is better than the one before.

Having said that, I WILL build up to the release date...as soon as I'm ready to announce one!

Excellent of you to do this but I already have Cradlle books 1 through 7. How about going ahead and releasing book 8? I know you are sitting on it ready to go and are just holding it back to torture us.

True spoilers follow: Mu Enkai will be revealed a Sophara in disguise because Mu Enkai had to hide his identity so he was not found out by the Skysworn. Think about it how would Mu Enkai die to a lowgold.

Yay! I have been telling my kids about these books since I found them in February. I've listened to Travis' reading of the 7 books 3 times already but they prefer to read them. I made them all download the gifts yesterday. Thanks!

There’s nothing like the feeling of reading a whole series again (like I just did with with Cradle for the umpteenth time) and realizing you have to wait for the next book. It happens to me every time with Will’s books. Maybe if I were a monarch I could speed up the process, but then again, patience is a virtue. Anyways, thanks for the consistent stream of great content Will! I hope your back is healing well, and that you feel well enough to write again!

Will! My dude, I started reading the Cradle series 4/10/20. I honestly didn't care for the Asian style mysticism in my fantasy reading. However, I kept reading through the first book. Two weeks later I've finished Uncrowned. This series is absolutely fantastic. I really love your work. That being said, can we get a ballpark estimate on when book 8 will be out? Im dying here man. Thank you for this series. You completely captivated me.

I don't know if this question will be seen, but I've got to ask anyway. When Lindon first tries to channel Blackflame into a Dragon's Breath strike, he releases it in an uncontrolled explosion which blasts him backwards. This raises the intriguing possibility that he might be able to use Blackflame to fly, or at least to make explosion-assisted jumps.

Chon Ma, the Cloud Hammer Underlord, runs through the sky from cloud to cloud in _Underlord_, so I could see Lindon blasting himself from Blackflame step to Blackflame step (kinda like Blackfoot Sanji in _One Piece_), or riding a constant series of explosions like Cannonball from the _New Mutants_ (or like an Orion rocket).

Could be quite the surprise for an airborne opponent who thought that Lindon was confined to fighting from the ground:-D.

I would so love to see Lindon's sister, Orthos, and the White Fox just DOMINATE the Heaven's Gate school. I figure Lindon's sis would be perfect to bond to White Fox like Lindon did Orthos. Then, straight up rip that school to shreds, take all their stuff, and bail from the valley to go meet up
