Sorry folks, I'm sure that little error will set Will back by at least a month. It's tragic I know, but we wouldn't want him to publish anything that wasn't perfect would we? I mean the letter 'a' is the most important letter in the alphabet. Without the letter 'a' we wouldn't know where to begin. You can't just start with the letter 'B' even though it is completely awesome, as opposed to a letter like 'W' which is just a made up letter anyway.

As a pre-reader, the mistake was caught, I just wasn't available today to let Will know before he wanted to release the chapter for you all. No worries, I hate word mistakes as much as anyone, and there should be very few, if any mistakes left that the pre-readers and Will himself haven't found before the book is released on kindle.

While I agree about Indirial's daughter being a good love interest for Simon it's would be in Norway predictable. From what we were told in the last book she's a master swordsman (or as close as she can get at her age) she would eat Simon for breakfast.

No we don't know that. Simon is a Valinhall traveler that could hit her with a thousand pound tree (probably). We don't know if she's a traveler, even though it's probable. Although he's probably gonna get his ass handed to him by Indiral.

True, skill-wise there is no comparison, but it hasn't been stated whether she is a Valinhall traveller herself yet. Plus Simon probably went back to Valinhall to finish his training at the end of the last book. That should get him caught up in a hurry.

Love where this is going, but I do have a question. What power did Simon get for the room after the library it never does say. Also any possibility of Simon picking up another territory? I realize that he has nowhere near finished Vauxhall but I am curious about the possibility.

Is it just me or is any one else wondering what happened to Valin? And the incarnations. The definition has scary potental. And what dose it have to do with Valinhall? Are they the same Kai's warning about the chains and the mysterious incarnations under the red trees.

My guess would be that Valin became an incarnation. And probably got permanent 'diamond' and other abilities.

From book 1 & this chapter I'm still convinced that Incarnations are just that. Manifestations of their territory through their travelers. A traveler draws too deep and the territory in all its terrible glory takes control.

I can't wait for the crimson vault (>,<). thankfully I've just finished reading House of Blades and decided to find out when the next sequel is going to come out. I don't like Alin much either. He shouldn't die but something bad should happen to him that has a poetic justice to it. Like he should be frozen by the green crystal of patience or whatever and Simon should take over the prophecy.

I'm gonna take a guess that both Simon and Alin get beat up really badly and it humbles them. Probably by Leah. Ill keep Alin in mind when reading the book but it will be harder to focus on the awesomeness that is Simon.

Perhaps Alin should be trapped in a room locked from the outside, full of old judges reciting boring poetry, and he can only leave once he starts enjoying it. This would be to force him to gain the patience required for the green sphere. That would be poetic justice. We could even make a reality tv show based on that.

I see a future problem with the diamond. Eventually Simon will get it and then to make everything simpler (which is what the diamond does) he might kill everyone under the influence of the diamond. Just a guess. and the only reason that's plausible is because Will had said in another blog post that they might not all survive

I was wondering if there are plans to publish House of Blades as an audiobook on Audible? It would be awesome if there are. I started using whispersync (or trying to anyway) with Blood Song. If House of Blades was an audiobook, I would snatch it up in a heartbeat.

There are TONS of good books. Uh there is Harbinger its a self- publish too. Uh so many i cant think, Galactic Mage is good, so is The Innkeepers Son thats alright, A Crucible of Souls is good, A madness of Angles is good. Tons and Tons

Well I'm glad that another power in the dragons 13 has been shown. Hope there's more to come. It just seems like the other travelers have more diversity in their powers. But maby that's what makes the dragon 13 so good. Simplicity and maby future sayian powers. But seriously, what DID Simon get in the library?

The library was explained. His reward for conquering the library was the opportunity to learn. It's jam packed with knowledge. Now if only Simon could read...He'd probably just complain that it isn't on a Kindle.

Good lord Will I have another question. Well more than one but let's discuss on this one. When Indirial had used the Nye essence, he still had to breathe out of the box they first gave him. But all Simon had to do was breathe it in once and he could call it just like Benson's steel. Why is that?

Man, I loved it. But did anyone else notice a conspicuous lack of our ursine brethren? I seem to remember the bears with jetpacks flying in from Alinland to help Indirial take down the Naraka traveler in the first chapter of House of Blades. This is possibly a serious error, someone should tell Will.

I just want to know if Simon gets an ability involving the chains the Nye are always trying to choke him with.
