The Convention of Ancient Cities

So here I am at Ancient City Con in Jacksonville, FL. I was going to test the waters, to try out my awesome new House of Blades shirts, and to enjoy a really cool con that's close to where I live.

And someone else canceled, so I was able to get a booth in the Dealer's Hall.

This is surreal: here I am at a gaming/anime convention, promoting (in my own booth) a book that I wrote.

What a strange world in which we live.

Incidentally, today House of Blades is doing better than ever! Over 213 sales today SO FAR, and it's up to #358 out of all the books in the Kindle store!

I shed a single, manly tear today. Just one. It rolled down my rugged, sun-baked cheek.

What are you doing at a Convention???

You should be chained to your PC/desk slaving away on the next book. August is too far away. I want the next book NOW and the next one the day after :)

Just finished reading your book. Got to say congratz on a job really well done. Am Loving it.

Love the 3 way view points. And that it is only 3 view points. Give a better picture of what is going on, without being too complex. Some writes go so many view points and the story is one confusing mess to me.

Also love that story and plot. Just one thing, hope Simon progressing steadily getting more powerful till he is a force to be reckoned with and not instantly becoming more "Superman" to solve his issues as and when.

Alin, on the other hand, go crazy, since he suffers from "too much power, not enough cow sense" syndrome, If Alin could get a clue as slowly as Simon grows strong and have them meet in the middle that would be grand.

Will you be looking to sell book related merchandise at some stage...t-shirts or hoodies would be epic!
(Am currently picturing Bleach and Final Fantasy type swords too)

Hey! Australia! That's awesome!

I'd love to sell T-Shirts or hoodies at some point, but that's probably for a few years down the road, when the books have enough readers that might actually buy such things. For now, I'm just printing out these T-shirts to hand out to my friends so that they can serve me as living billboards.

Also, I'm pretty sure that a T-shirt I put up for sale would be cooler. Like, the book logo on the front of a green shirt is cool, but I would want some sort of neat graphic to go along with it.

And Bleach-style or Final Fantasy-style swords would be fantastic. That would truly make my life complete.

@Mark Vaupel Dude you literally just inspired the worlds best freaking book series. WILL I WANT TO INSPIRE A BOOK SERIES!!!! Make one about a homeschooled kid who is jacked.
