Sick

I’m sick this week. Nothing fun to say, just...sick.

It’s this cold/flu/ancient curse that’s been going around lately, and it’s made the last few days pretty miserable. Hoping to shake it by this weekend.

Until then, I’m basically just coughing up lung after lung. Eventually, I’ll run out of spare lungs.

I'm right there with ya. Just know I'm counting on you to be a beacon and pull through this evil, unholy, disgusting curse. Your example will guide all with this plague to the light so we can continue our journey of boats, souls and blades together. You are needed in this hour of darkness.

Seriously I feel like I've been beat the last couple days only to wake up and beg for more because of this sickness. I feel you. Hope you feel better.

I hope you get better soon. That terrible curse had me stricken for some time. I had a flu first, immediately after I got a fever, then I was plagued by an upset stomach. Not a day of rest for a little over a week. Terrible stuff.

The plague has claimed Will! I must double down on my defenses. No more going outside! I mean... even less than usual.

On another note, how did you even manage to get sick in the first place? I thought us self-employed people never left our homes!

As I'm not a medical professional, I won't offer any health advice like 'get plenty of fluids and rest' or 'don't make any promises you can't keep'.

Hope you feel better soon. And not just out of the selfish desire to get the next story as soon as possible.

You should draw some fire madra in.
Just light some candles - ask the fire madra to purify you - and start breathing it - use what ever cycling technique you are on .- and tommorow you will be just fine ☺

Get better. I had something last week which had a malaise so bad it woke me up a few times. Iy was like bad acid or somesuch.

Hope that the Druid gets back in time to remove that curse but out of curiosity, why is there a masked swordsman with an impracticaly long sword and a powder blue doll in a scene from Andrew Rowe’s sufficiently advanced magic. Did Simon get lost in some territory and end up in one of the shifting spires?

This has been a topic of discussion numerous times on Will's blog. As I understand it, Andrew Rowe and Will do some beta reading for one another, so Andrew threw in a cameo for Simon in his book. There's been much speculation on how he got there!

While this is not directly related to the content of this post, I was curious if you have ever considered making a Patreon. Some other authors I enjoy have one, and I think it is a good way for those who enjoy your content to be able to help support you in between books being published. Because life expenses do not always coincide with book publications :)

I have considered it! Mainly as a way to keep people involved, though. While it would be nice to smooth out my spiky, unpredictable income, I just save most of the money I make from new book releases and I don't spend much.

Getting worried about you Will. Haven't heard from you for some time now. It's been awhile with no word after you informed us your were stricken with a curse. I am hoping you are feeling better and are working on the books opposed to still holed up feeling horrible.
