Reaper spoiler stream!

Tomorrow (Tuesday, November 9) at 7 PM Florida Time, I'll be on my Twitch answering chat questions about Reaper. Feel free to join if you've finished the book.

Let me be clear: this is a SPOILER STREAM and I'll be answering questions about SPOILERS. Don't log on and listen if you haven't finished the book!

I wanted to do this last week, but I felt like it was only fair to give you a week to actually read the book.

I mostly just plan on chatting, and any question that requires me to look things up will probably result in me either A.) dodging the question or B.) lying, but if you'd like to ask me questions about Reaper, join in tomorrow!

Let me remind you one more time that it will be full of spoilers.

ngl the book at first was eh, I had to listen to it twice cause well, I'm partly an idiot. That second time though when I got to like the last third of the book?

So once again Fate conspires against me I blame Eithan.
Makiel is too much of a by the books
Tl;dr I missed the twich.

So anywho for those who caught it or those who just know it by virtue of being a hound

A few doubts.

1. Why is the creator not mentioned as part of the original owner of the labyrinth.
I mean he was part of the original ascending group and only left before signing the edlari pact
But he is not mentioned any where in cradle history or Labrinth.

2. So Ozriel was older than dread god's as he was the owner before the soulsmiths who created them (including red faith)
And he left dream tablets (in the room where his inheritance was and the inheritance itself). And emriss was the one who made dream tablets so is she that old.

3.so deadgods can die and their binding harvested (Lindon and silent king)but they get reborn. So what happens to the binding doest it desipates , regenrates from binding or is it a farming bug.

4. The 8 man empire knows the secret but do not contributed to the problem. But cannot do anything cause 1 cannot kill 8.
But during the dread war all but 2 monarch died and the remaining 2 must have been severely affected so why not do something about it then

5. Ozmanthus Tiberius menelius areulies mentioned making weapons to kill dreadbeast but he came before the soulsmiths who created them. So how

6. Ozmanthus Tiberius menelius areulies proved the connection between soulfire and icon and manifest the icon of choice (broom)but Eithan kept repeatedly rejecting any icon that he had couldn't he just repeat the process and get which evey he wanted. He could have lied but he always avoided lying to Lindon and yerin even going as far as saying ozmanthus was the first patriarch instead of agreeing he was his ancestor.

These are my own conclusions and not drawn from any Twitch information.

For number 6:

You still need to fulfill the rest of the requirements for an Icon. Note that it's mentioned in the book that Ozzy decided to fight with a Broom, because why not. What he proved was that there is an Icon for everything, not that someone can manifest any Icon at will regardless of circumstance (he also proved that sufficient control and materials allows one to manifest an Icon that they qualify for at any time, but that's besides the point).

Eithan in this case did not yet qualify for the Icon he desired, and even if he did he said himself that he didn't want to connect to an Icon in the location and circumstances of the moment.

For 2 and 5:

Based on the timelines present, I believe that Dreadbeast experimentations occurred before the birth of Ozzy, and that if the Dread Gods were not born before him then they were born after he left.

I find it more likely that Emriss Silentborn popularized and innovated Dream Tablets to the point that they became Common Usage rather than she invented them for the first time ever, but it doesn't seem impossible that she is has the weight of ages behind her.

For 4:

I find it likely that the EME didn't exist until after the Dread War, though I might not remember any specific Lore stating otherwise.

OMG! finished Reaper in the wee hours last night! Happy and Mad at the same time. Great "ending." thought this was it, but glad there will be more....phenomenal series. top notch!

Just wanted to say that Reaper forced *another* reread of Cradle and the reread did not disappoint. In virtually every book there is some nugget that can be re-interpreted with Reaper's new context. I was giggling like a little person at all the half-truths and reactions that now meant something new and deeper.

Just reread Reaper for the umpteenth time and wanted to comment on how much I love it! Honestly Will, you seem to be getting better and better. The read continues to be enjoyable, emotional, humorous and basically all the things I did and did not know I always wanted.
