Well, the sites aren't entirely finished building, Killers is listed as Book 2*, and the descriptions aren't punctuated properly, but the books are now available for purchase on some half-finished Amazon landing pages!

Finally! For so long have I waited. Thank you a thousand times over.

On a side note, will the first two ebooks be updated to sync with the Audible books? I assume the audiobooks are the current revisions, while my ebooks show no updates available.

The ebooks have been updated to match the audiobooks, and actually were before the audio even went live. If it's not showing that on your account, it's an Amazon problem.

For anyone wondering, in case there are others with this same issue, although the content and devices page showed no updates to the books, I was able to contact Amazon through their chat and supplied them with my order numbers and they were able to push the updates through from their end.

All books are now updated for me and syncing properly with the audiobooks.

No, not yet! We put out the ebook as soon as we could, which meant not waiting for the audio to be produced.

The audiobook is in production and will be out as soon as it's ready!

No, that was completed almost a year ago. They're available and updated, Amazon just makes it a headache to get updated ebook text if you already own the originals.

I use kindle unlimited to read most of my books on kindle. I used it to purchase kings and killers but when i went to purchase killers and kings it did not have the option to use unlimited. Will this be available soon?

I have soooooo many things to say right now,

You have already proved to be a great author and have outdone yourself with these books. It also gives me no small amount of pleasure to see that I had the first rating on Calder's side of the story on Goodreads!

A few questions for the great author

1) This could potentially upset the WillWightian Laws but would it be possible to receive a timeline for the books? Like, for example, is Elder Empire before, at the same time, or later than the Cradle story?

2) When is the next mailing list short story?

3) Are the mailing list short stories CANON?

4) Is there a place I can discuss the recent developments in your books without them being classified as spoilers?

5) Where can I get more bloopers?

6) How did you get the idea to create such a wise character as Simon? He followed a crazy old man into a place he cannot leave after watching that same crazy old man talk to a doll while killing two people like it was nothing, then he proceeds to trust said crazy old man who cannot talk without singing and not be phased by being chocked by a shadow?????

7) Also, does Kai dance? Can we get a book on that, I can see the title already, "Kai the Dancing Traveler", he would proceed to go on a stage and sing with his dolls acting as a chorus/ background dancers for his new hit single, "How I adopted a child and trained him to kill"

Finished Of Kings and Killers. Loved it. I'll have to wait a couple weeks before I read Shera's PoV because Calders books never fail to make me despise Shera by the end of them.

Also, Bliss is best girl.

In what way do you mean? Just curiousity, for context I don't like Shera. Just so you know mostly because she appears too uncaring. Calder is all passion and I'm not blind enough to undersrand why thats a weakness, but I prefer passion to a robot. No offense meant. And I do enjoy bits and pieces of Shara. She has my sympathy if nothing else

I just want to say that I’ve been eagerly anticipating these books for a while now, and I am thrilled they are out. To me, this was the perfect amount of anticipation without being soured by the delay like some OTHER authors I love and could mention :)

These are trying times and your books make things just a little bit better. I’ve just finished re-reading the Cradle series, and this is perfect timing.

Keep doing what you do, you are amazing at it!

I loved the finale. I always knew you would do a good ending. My personal opinion though, the married couple didnt come out as fully ...married. Its okay though me and my partner are closer than most, to the extent our parents take object sometimes, but I've always felt thats how it should be. Normal people.might be different. Honestly the problem is you rushed Calders development. He should have gotten an upgrade along with Shera and by book 2 it left us feeling he was getting left behind. Honestly I can't see the last book being a better sequel.

So, I was wondering something - and heavy late-book spoilers ahead here, folks;

Anyone else thing we might have been oblique witnesses to the point that old Oz up and vanished towards the end there? From the perspective of our protaganists it looks like the man in the sky failed to stop at least one Elder, but during Calder's audience he didn't seem especially worried about the prospect of tangling with them. If he was distracted coralling an unruly prisoner, however, could some other force have used that opportunity to make a strike?

?? Oz is one of the Judges. Perhaps the most powerful god in current exisitance. This is apparent in the Cradle Series where Suriel is searching for him, since he went missing. Refusing to destroy more worlds.

I'm wondering if he used this oppurtunity to let the Fiend loose so he could cover his escape. Its presense might have been enough to prevent anyone from searching the Way while he snuck away after the fight.

Yes, that could also be the case. I wasn't sure we'd had explicit confirmation that Oz disappeared deliberately rather than being taken out of play, hence my initial pondering. But yeah, you're right - an attempted jailbreak would also have been good cover for him to sneak out the back, so to speak.

MINOR SPOILER ALERT!

I just want to point out, in the bloopers at the end, Ozriel and Caulder are creeping on Will, watching him through an invisible window. Caulder asks "What is this?!" and Ozriel answers "I'll tell you what it's not; it's not Cradle."

I have a suspicion that Will might be working on something OTHER than cradle, eager as I am to return to that world myself

Personally, I read Shera’s books first, but it is entirely up to which character or style you prefer, as you will probably end up hating the protagonist of the other set (at least for a little while). I chose shadows, darkness, and killers because I personally like the assassin or rouge type. If you prefer the sailer/ruler type, read sea, dawn, and kings.
Additionally, though I haven’t read Kings and Killers yet, in the other five out seems as though the shadows book have more about the world and magic as a whole, while the sea books talk more about the citizens and their lives or experiences (I haven’t read the first books in a while, so I could be misremembering, so don’t base your choice on this bit).

Late to the reply game but I read in tandem generally Shera chapter then Calder cause I like her more, but some scenes make sense to read Calder first so I switch (when he seems the main viewpoint). Overall works really well

Two things...
1) Is Reading the same basis as a Soul in Cradle? Based on what Ozriel said about Intent, I got a little uncertain.
2) In Cradle, Lindon comes across one or two scripted black stones in the Trancendent Ruins, I don't think we ever hear about them again, or what they do. Do they have any relation to Ozriel's marble?
P.s. just finished Of Kings and Killers, and am already starting Of Killers and Kings. Great work, Will, I look forward to all future projects!

Thank you for such a satisfying conclusion. Loved the book, and the bloopers were hilarious.

I read the books simultaneously switching off books where it felt natural (roughly every chapter) and it worked really well.

Question if not a spoiler, what's the timeline between Elder Empire and Cradle?

Another idle question were the inconsistencies in the story purposeful or missed editing (eg a scene where Estyr's dialogue was different in the two books)

I am glad you finally got to finish the series!
My evaluation:
Shera’s Series, Awesomeness, I loved it, on par with cradle.
Calder’s Series: Also good, had the minor issue of Calder’s existence (I don’t like Calder) but otherwise fine.

Keep up the awesome work, and I can’t wait for wintersteel! (or whatever cradle 8 is called).
