Hurricane Report

Sorry about the quiet since DragonCon; it's not because I've been working, this time. It's the fault of my new neighbor, Irma.

I live in Orlando, and we're not supposed to get the worst of it, but it's still coming down pretty hard. And we just discovered my roof leaking.

I'll let you know if I survive, or if I get carried off to Oz.

Be safe out there. Between escaped alligators, floating fire ant hazards, and hurricane refugees stealing all the good seats at the restaurants, you don't wanna come home to water dripping on your head and find out the wicked witch discovered waterproofing exists.

Cell service in Oz is pretty bad. You get like 1 bar near the rifts to our world and absolutely nothing further in. I suggest using a scrying crystal or a messenger golem set to activate if you leave your current world.

If you do wind up in Oz, seek out Princess Ozma and tell her that you know of me and seek assistance in returning to your original world. She owes me a favor since I was the one who spotted the alterations done to her body and mind and informed Glinda about them. She essentially owes the fact that she is now the ruler of Oz to me. Also, if you do find meet her, ask her what the current going rate is for 100 grams of the Powder of Life. It is an essential component in resection spells meant to be used on beings who don't depend on their bodies to survive, like Lich's and higher power Pheonix division Abidan. My roommate also falls into this category and I need at least another 50 grams of P.o.L to enact the resurrection ritual once I locate the last missing part of his body.

I would have set up a hurricane repellant ritual along the southern coast of the U.S, but I've been busy altering my Webspawn pheromone elimination ritual to also eliminate and repel CO2 in order to prevent their Queen from awakening. I feel like that takes priority over a small family of hurricanes.

Did you seriously think that a necromancer of my skill could die so easily? Even if I had died, its not like that would stop me from living my life since death is so easily reversible once one attains sufficient master over the forces of life.
While Queen was pretty awesome, my tastes are still relatively classical. I am after all old enough to call the people who first listened to Mozart "Young whippersnappers". My personal favorite music produced on earth are the meditation hymns of the monks of Shangri-La. They are peaceful and calming and help me focus when I am constructing delicate rituals. I liked them so much that I cloned a whole group of those monks back in the day and stored them inside a pocket dimension where all they do is sing all day. The spells on their cloned bodies ensure that they have no physical needs and that they think of nothing else but meditating and singing. That way i have access to the meditative hymns whenever I want them.

Hey, at least their ruler is pretty hot. I mean Princess Ozma is supposed to look 14, but those curves make her look 18, and she is an immortal being much like myself so its NOT pedophilia. Plus where else can you find Powder of Life at a reasonable rate?

Have u tried the witch covens in EuroAsia?. I hear they like harvesting it by mass quantites to sell to demons of the Stygian Abyss. They tend to always want to have babies with powerful men though so watch out.

I have had contact with them, and they tried to seduce me then kidnap me. Unfortunately for them I usually work through intermediaries, like flesh golems or high-level undead servants, so after the seduction/genetic material theft activities when they tried to keep me captive I just detonated the magics held within my flesh-golem representative. They have since banned me from doing business with them, and I think they are quite mad that the, ahem, "Genetic material" turned out to just be 100% unusable since the flesh-golem doesn't have any chromosomes.

A fair amount of the Orlando area (according to coworkers) has gotten power back and hurricane jose is spinning out to the Atlantic fortunately!
