Many of you may remember a few months ago, when I offered T-shirts for sale the first time. Well, when I got mine, I didn't like it (the symbol on the front was too grainy and washed-out for my tastes), so we shopped around until we found one that I liked. I like these, so now you can buy one! Cradle shirts are up now, and I just got the early drafts of the first Traveler's Gate and Elder Empire designs! Will, I hate you. Why are you talking about T-shirts when all we care about are release dates? Good question, Chorus of Voices In My Head! I can't promise much, but I can promise you this: if I don't have another book out by August 21st, there will be a total eclipse of the sun. -Will

Hmm, I noticed that where I Live there definitely will NOT be a TOTAL eclipse of the sun, and therefore a Will Wight book will be required to release in several states in the US. Looking forward to OKAK Will!

I also enjoyed dungeon born, but there were some pretty big weaknesses. I think you could tell the author is an engineer; great, creative approach to item/world creation, but some absolutely cringe-worthy prose and expository dialogue.

Your Cradle series is so much better than the other books. I read each of the three books in the Cradle series over 10 times. Big fan.

So since we are waiting, read some Sarah j Maas! Best book series I've read in a while(other than cradle of course), and the level of detail in the books is astounding.

I have to agree. So much of the good writing gets swallowed up in pointless romance. Certain characters are so we'll written and doing awesome stuff and then BAM! Romance. I'm not against romance in a story. My problem is that it really stole the show from all the other stuff going on imo.

Given his past comments, I believe that IF (a big if) there's enough story already written for skysworn then it will come out relatively soon™. Regardless of whether or not we get Skysworn, Will has said that he hopes to get OKAK out around the new year.

Yeah, that's a lack of clarity on my part. I have them use VDD, and then I skip five minutes. I meant to imply that Orthos and Lindon cleaned up the Remnants during that time, but I didn't explicitly state it, so it's unclear.

The other Raccoon Families have brought up a good point about Gokren, the Sandviper TrueGold. Does BlackFlame hold the power to incinerate not only the human, but their remnant at the same time? Or was it just because Orthos is a walking trash compactor and ate Gokren and his remnant?
No, I just skipped the scene with Orthos and Lindon dealing with the Remnants. The technique didn't destroy the Remnants; I just looked back over the scene, and they kill the guys and then the text skips ahead five minutes.

Main reason is I feel it's more tasteful without the writing. It's the difference between a nice graphic shirt that maybe prompts a conversation about its significance and a shirt that someone sees and goes 'oh, a piece of media'.

And a four corners rotation pill would make it go twice as quickly, right? Or does it only increase your cycling speed? I thought that processing madra is accomplished by cycling, but again, not sure. Where is Will!!! We need him to answer our questions!

Wait, it wouldn't be THAT easy. Orthos said that there is no such thing as pure vital aura, so you would have to have a pure madra core if you want to process a large amount, and eat a bunch of money... that could be used to increase your advancement with a "real" path.
Eithan's scales would be too powerful for Lindon. He would get more out of a Lowgold scale than an Underlord scale, simply because he can only process so much. And scales are only useful for advancement up to a point; you couldn't get to Truegold by swallowing scales alone. Your spirit wouldn't be able to control your power, and you'd be injured.

Well an eclipse causes light but it's "dark light". So would there be a different kind of viral aura? Um I'm not an expert on all science things , nor Wills books, but by definition dark light sounds wrong. There are shadows which are caused by obstructions to actual light. The light sort of has to do detour to get to these areas thus are still visible but less so than anything under direct light. Shadow / darkness madra might be a thing though, so if thats what ur asking then sure an eclipse would create shadow aura ( if it exists), but so would say a building, a car, or anything that obstructs light.

Sorry, that was misleading. What you said correctly describes it. However, you can still damage your eyes by looking at the sun during an eclipse because of the ultraviolet rays.It looks dark, but it is not truly dark. I thought it would be cool if Will made solar Madra, only able to be cycled during eclipses and around spatial objects.

Hmmm perhaps since there is so much shadow madra also, that could be a spectacular time to cycle if you are on a shadow path... eh I think it would be cool to have a short story about somebody who uses solar madra, and can only get it from spatial objects, meteors, eclipse like events, full moons, etc.
