I died, but my Remnant is still at work.

Really grinding away at Wintersteel. We cut some scenes, added some more, right now it's a little longer than it started. Will that be the case in the future? Who knows?

Just wanted to let you guys know that progress is still being made!

Will, would you consider releasing the cut chapters and scenes in a side novel like you did for Travelers Gate? I love pretty much anything you right and it actually hurts to hear some of the stuff thats missing. Even just an entire book of end credit realities where things went wrong would be absolutely hilarious!

When Uncrowned came out Will's Facebook page started changing to the covers of the book. Roughly about once a week, if I remember correctly. My plan is to start the re-reads when that happens.

Hypothetically, if a copper were to recieve a monacharcs power in a similar way to Sha Miara, what Iron Body would they recieve? Also, did Sha Miara gain all of her mother's knowledge as if she had absorbed the remnant?

Sorry. I just think they would just explode. Sha Miara is displayed as an Underlady, she likely was at that stage when her mother passed on her spirit. Underlord to Monarch, is 4 stages, but hey magic. Copper to Monarch is ridiculous.Why not just train the child to at least to truegold using elixers? I mean its not like a Monarch can be poor.

First, we know that Sha Miara was at least gold, we were told in the first book. Second, would the knowledge not pass on like it does with a remnant, she is essentially taking on her mother's remnant, because they are the physical manifestation of someone's power.

Why do your cradle books take so much longer now? It sure felt like you used to get a cradle book out in at least 6 months. Now it’s more likely once a year.

He actually has been getting them out close to twice a year now. But that is total books. He just finished and released the last 2 set of books for one of his other series (OKAK APR 2020) and that was after Uncrowned (SEP 2019). This one should be out before the end of the year. Unless he starts another series OR adds on to another existing one we should hopefully start getting Cradle exclusively for a while. So yeah 1 book every 6 months or so is still the norm.

Hard work and Consistency beats Inspiration every day of the week.
Take Patrick Rothfuss (not to belittle ANY writer!) - he is an inspired writer, but he did not put out the last episode of his trilogy in over 6 years! (because he keeps re-drafting it to be PERFECT!)

I would much rather have a dedicated writer be consistent (like doing your daily workouts...), write consistently and put a book every 6 months/a year, than wait for an unknown period.

Considering inspiration, I am sure everybody here agrees that Will is full of inspiration - we just need consistency (which I believe he also has... )

So we're all good here :)

I'm not so sure about that. As long as their advancement level is roughly equal, in power, to Kai's abilities as a Traveler, Otoku's abilities are pretty analogous to the Arelius bloodline ability, and it would be interesting to see an Arelius's reaction to a completely unknown, similar power.

If you go to Mr. Baldree's YouTube and look at the channel banner at the top, it shows the books he's worked on. What's coming out soon, what's been published and what he's working on now. In the middle of the banner in the spot for currently recording it says 'Top Secret', I presume that's Wintersteel he's reading since that post on reddit where he said he was excited to read it later this month. I'm not sure why Will and his team aren't letting the fans know about all this. Or maybe it's all in my head. Who knows.

It isn't all that secret. Mr. Baldree posted in the r/iteration110cradle subreddit that he had received the text of something he is going to read "this month". That was posted on August 6 so it wouldn't be any surprise if he is working on it now.

*********SPOILERS**********

I just re-read uncrowned and these are my predictions for Wintersteel
1) Eithan is motivated by the presence of Penance and the ties to the the Arelius bloodline and decided to go all out to win the tournament. He meet Sophara in the finals of tournament. She is frustrated by Eithans ability to match her and she advances to Overlord during the fight which is allowed with in tournament rules. Eithan in a true DBZ moment reveals he too is ready to advance and also advances to overload during the fight to win. Thus giving him Penance and staying one advancement stop beyond Lindon and Yerin allowing him to maintain his character role of mentor more easily.
2) Lindon is taken under the tutelage of Northstrider who teaches him how to continue to develop Dross and advance this hunger mantra techniques.
3) Yerin is taken under the tutelage of the winter sage who continues her training towards the sword icon and we have some additional flashback scenes with the sword sage
4) The Wandering Titan rises
5) Mercy make the top 8 but loses in the next round
6) We have fewer celestial scenes than in Uncrowned

What do you guys think? What are your predictions?
