Putting the punchline at the beginning: Of Dawn and Darkness, the sequel to Of Sea and Shadow, will be released on Monday, December 7th.
I was going to try and push it out for this Monday, November 30th, but when it's already three months late...why rush it now? I really do apologize for the amount of extra time it took me to publish this book; this was far and away the most challenging story I've written so far. You wouldn't think so, considering that Darkness is the same story from the opposite perspective, but let's just say I was...surprised. There certainly won't be this much of a gap between Killers and Kings, largely because I'll be writing those books together. I wasn't a huge fan of writing them one at a time, though it was probably worth trying. As always, thanks for your patience, and thanks for reading! -Will

Great that you have a release date but I was so hoping it would be sooner. Needed something to read on my plane ride out of Thailand. And why on Pearl Harbor's anniversary?

Drat, exam week! I'd better not have an exam Tuesday, or I'll be toast.

Yay! I've been really looking forward to this. Thanks Will! BTW, I think releasing both in the pair together (or at least as close as possible) is better. It gives readers the choice of which perspective to discover first, and also means that first perspective is still fresh in ones memory when reading the other.

Woohoo! Looking forward to it. Also, this seems like the perfect amount of advance notice to allow for some refresher reading...

The cover explains everything Will. You had to track that guy down and get Calder his sword back. It's a perfectly reasonable excuse, you could have just told us that. We would have understood. :)

"Dawn Comes on December 7th!" is a poignant reminder of historical significance. December 7th is forever etched in memory as the date of the infamous Pearl Harbor attack in 1941, a day that led the United States into World War II. The phrase invokes a sense of awakening and reflection, as the world changed dramatically on that fateful morning. It serves as a symbol of resilience, unity, and remembrance, prompting us to honor the sacrifices made and the lessons learned from that day in history. It is essential to recognize how far we have come and the importance of peace and diplomacy in our interconnected world today.
