Big News Coming Re: 5-Year Anniversary!

The five-year anniversary of House of Blades' release is coming on June 1st, which also means it's the five-year anniversary of Hidden Gnome Publishing*!

I know we've been pretty dry on news over the last few weeks while I've been in my traditional writing seclusion, but now that spell is coming to an end! Keep an eye on this space over the next few days, because news is coming!

So much news that you will choke on it. News that will blacken the sky and ravage your crops, until you turn tear-stained eyes to the heavens and beg "Please...no more news." But the skies are deaf to your pleas, and the news continues to fall.

The deluge begins soon! Gird thyself!

I haven't checked Discord in about a month, because I've been trapped in my lightless writing chamber with a slathering slave-driver eager to whip me the second my fingers started to flag.

So it was a coincidence. But I'd like to think that I subconsciously sensed a disturbance in the Force generated by your complaint, and that's what stirred me to action.

Has it been five years already? I don't know you personally, but I love seeing the progress you've made as a writer (and I've enjoyed everything you've written) and I'm quite proud to recommend your stuff to anyone that is mildly interested in Fantasy. Speaking of crops: make sure to save up your gold until the Strawberry Festival, so you can plant as many strawberries as possible on the first day of summer.

Many people choose to gird their loins, but I can't tell you where to gird. Maybe you want to gird your face; who am I to judge?

Congratulations on your upcoming 5 year anniversary! I haven’t been following you for five years yet, but it’s close. I didn’t purchase house of blades until October 9th 2013, but I’ve been hooked since. I will follow you, your minions and your publications for as long as you continue to write.

Looking forward to the information, but not so much choking as I imagine it is unpleasant. But if that is the equivalent exchange for said information, so be it. I accept your challenge.

October 10 2013, here. Three purchses within 3 days. There must have been a sale? Regardless, one of my best purchases. Will is one of my favorites now. Recruited my wife as a fan as well.

Congratulations on five years! Gonna be honest here, this'll sound rude, but hear me out. I'm glad I wasn't here the full five years. I showed up only about a year ago, and that allowed me to binge read all your books and then wait for more, so I didn't have to wait over all that time for all the books. Either way, you're a great writer and will hopefully only improve. Maybe one day it'll lead to world domination. I call dibs on the engineers from China.

I'm not one to post to forums usually but I really wanted to drop by and say that your books have been awesome. Hooked me with house of blades which I think I've reread about 10 times, and now with lindons antics I'm waiting on the edge of my seat.
I missed all the short story releases because the emails never appear to come through. Any chance you allow them to be downloaded from the site?

Thanks for the awesome books again and I'm off to purchase a cone of silence to protect me from the incoming news..
