Will’s physical books were first released as print-on-demand books, allowing us to make the books available to fans about as fast as Will can write.
We are now releasing traditionally published editions to bookstores worldwide, allowing Will’s books to reach a wider audience. This transition means that as the trade editions become available, the print-on-demand versions become out of print.
By summer 2025, all of Cradle will be available in trade editions; we have also started releasing The Last Horizon this way. Book one of The Traveler’s Gate Trilogy, House Blades, is out now in trade hardcover, and in trade paperback in fall 2026. The other two books in Traveler's Gate and The Elder Empire will be along in due time.
